We are currently working with a well-established and growing engineering contractor specialising in industrial automation, conveyor systems, and material handling solutions across the UK.

With a strong presence in sectors including logistics, distribution centres, FMCG, and manufacturing, the company has built a reputation for delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and upgrades on complex conveyor and automation systems.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of nationwide projects, they are now looking to recruit experienced Electricians with conveyor experience to join their team.

The Role

As an Electrician, you will be working on a range of conveyor and automated systems projects across the UK, supporting installations, maintenance, and upgrades within live industrial environments.

This role will involve nationwide travel, working on large-scale sites such as distribution centres, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and fault finding on conveyor systems and automation equipment

• Carrying out electrical installations including containment, cabling, and termination

• Working on motors, drives, sensors, and control systems

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults within fast-paced industrial environments

• Supporting PPM and reactive maintenance activities

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics

• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations

• Working closely with site teams, engineers, and project managers

• Supporting commissioning and testing of systems where required

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrician within industrial or automated environments

• Strong experience working on conveyor systems or material handling equipment

• Ability to carry out fault finding and maintenance on electrical systems

• Experience with motors, inverters, and control panels

• ECS / JIB Gold Card (preferred)

• 18th Edition (essential)

• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required

• Strong work ethic and ability to work within fast-paced environments
