An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and highly respected M&E contractor operating across Central London.

The Role
As a Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility across a range of projects, from pre-construction through to final account.
This is a client-facing role that will require both office and site presence across London, giving you full exposure to project delivery and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial aspects of M&E projects from inception to completion
Work across both office and site locations to ensure effective project delivery
Administer and manage NEC contracts
Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
Monitor project costs, variations, and commercial performance
Lead and attend meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Manage subcontractor procurement, accounts, and negotiations
Provide guidance to site teams on commercial and contractual matters
Produce regular reports and updates for senior management
Ensure projects are delivered in line with commercial targets and margins
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor
Strong understanding of M&E installations within commercial or fit-out projects
Solid working knowledge of NEC contracts
Experience managing subcontractor packages and procurement processes
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred)
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
Must be able to commute to and work across London project sites
